Middleton moves from Moxie research role to Performics

US— Publicis-owned search marketing agency Performics will get a new president from 1 April – Daina Middleton moves into the role from social marketing specialist Moxie Interactive, a sister firm, where she currently oversees research and insight.

Middleton takes over from CEO Nick Beil who is becoming head of operations for the Vivaki Nerve Centre, a Publicis initiative to develop digital marketing tools, platforms and partnerships across the group.

The change in management precedes a new strategic alliance between Performics and Moxie “to create a full suite of services focused on maximising sales and social marketing efforts”.

In her new role Middleton, a former Hewlett-Packard marketer, will continue to report in to Moxie CEO Joel Lunenfeld, who will now lead both Performics and Moxie.

Middleton joined Moxie in 2008 and currently heads its Sunao division, which is responsible for research and insight, emerging trends, market innovation and marketing analytics.
