SINGAPORE/THE PHILIPPINES – Market research agency MetrixLab has extended its operation in south-east Asia by opening an office in the Philippines.
The company has appointed Bernadette Verde (pictured) as senior client director to lead the office in the Philippines.
Verde was most recently part of the insights team at Reckitt Philippines, and previous roles have included work at Monde Nissin, Nielsen and Ipsos.
Led by Gayatri Srikant, MetrixLab’s south-east Asia operation is headquartered in Singapore and works with clients in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
MetrixLab’s global headquarters are in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Gayatri Srikant, managing director of MetrixLab SE Asia, said: “Bernadette brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Asian markets – and of the Philippines in particular. I am confident she has the skills to manage our fast-growing roster of Philippines-based clients and will provide the support and expertise that local clients will appreciate.
“As we exit the restrictions of the pandemic, this new office launch is the first in our plan for growth as we look to get closer to our clients in south-east Asia to continue to help them grow their businesses.”
