US— Media agency MEC has hired Sharona Sankar-King as senior partner and director of digital analytics.
Sankar-King (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing the digital analytics practice within the agency’s North American analytics and insights team. She will be based in New York and will report to Theresa LaMontagne, the division’s managing director.
She comes to the firm from marketing agency network RAPP where she was vice president of strategy and analysis and worked with clients from the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
LaMontagne said: “I’m thrilled to have a person with Sharona’s unique background and breadth of experience to join our growing analytics and insights practice. Sharona’s fluency in strategic and analytical techniques pertaining to CRM, integrated channel management, data analysis and data mining are key skills that will take our analytics team to the next level.”
