MD and finance director named at Verve

UK – Data and AI consultancy Verve has appointed Michael Carratt as managing director of Verve Communities & Consulting and group finance director.

Michael Carratt

Carratt (pictured) was previously partner at data analytics consultancy JMAN Group and has prior experience at Montagu Private Equity and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In addition to his role as managing director at Verve Communities & Consulting, Carratt will also join the company’s board of directors as group finance director.

The appointment comes following Verve’s decision earlier this year to split the company into two interconnected business units, Verve Vero and Verve Communities & Consulting.

Verve Communities & Consulting will focus on the business’ insight and consulting function, while Verve Vero will combine AI with human insight and cultural understanding, with Vero headed by Andrew Cooper, founder and chief executive at Verve.

Cooper said: “I am really looking forward to working with Michael and the leadership team, as we rapidly roll out new insight and foresight propositions.”
