Gardner (pictured) joined MARU/VCR&C through the acquisition of Vision Critical’s Research & Consulting business, where he was a leading research consultant for nearly 10 years.

He said: "Too often we see over-reliance on data without the human element and understanding, making decisions less actionable than they could be.  Our goal is to continue innovating with nimble, agile research that helps clients make smarter decisions, faster."

Ed Morawski, president of MARU/VCR&C, said: "David brings a tremendous track record of building innovative research teams and products to the San Francisco office. His deep vertical market insight and commitment to leveraging technology to improve outcomes for clients has established him as a leader in the field."
