Schellekens (pictured, left) joins the company from Kantar, where he was sales director at Lightspeed. He takes up the new role on 19th August.

Boj Nefkens (pictured, right), the company’s commercial director, becomes part of a new management team with Schellekens. The two will lead the organisation while Markteffect founders Edgar de Beule and Hesam Fahimi focus on further growth. The company recently acquired DirectResearch.

De Beule said: “We are particularly pleased that a heavyweight like Joris with his experience and knowledge has committed himself to Markteffect. We are confident that Joris, together with Boj and the rest of the team, will take the organisation to an even higher level. This allows Hesam and myself to focus more on further growth and expansion of the Markteffect Research Group. Among other things, we will focus on further internationalisation of the group.”
