US – Jennifer Carrea has been promoted to CEO, Americas at Lightspeed, replacing David Shanker who is leaving the company.
Carrea (pictured), who joined Lightspeed in September 2016 after two years as group president at Instar Research, will also retain her responsibilities as CEO of global health at the company.
The move is effective from August 1. Shanker is leaving Lightspeed to pursue new opportunities.
“Since joining Lightspeed to head up our global healthcare business last year, Jennifer has impressed us all with her bold approach to making change for the better and driving double-digit revenue growth," said Caroline Frankum, global CEO.
"I have no doubt she will build on these strong foundations to extend growth into the consumer business as well. Many thanks to David for all he did over the years, and we wish him well with his new journey ahead.”
