Kuoni and Club Med sign for GfK travel monitor

UK— Swiss tourism company Kuoni and French resort chain Club Med have signed up to GfK Ascent MI’s Leisure Travel Monitor (LTM), which provides market intelligence on forward booking information for the outbound holiday market.

Club Med managing director Laurent De Chorivit said: “The importance of being able to call upon accurate and independent market data and analysis cannot be underestimated. This knowledge provides the travel industry with an invaluable insight into how the upcoming seasons are shaping up, enabling Club Med to identify and react to market dynamics with confidence.”

GfK Ascent-MI MD Sarah Smalley (pictured) added:  “The addition of Kuoni and Club Med serves to further strengthen our partnership with the travel industry. Amidst a period of economic uncertainty accurate booking information and analysis is absolutely vital to the industry, and their data enhances our knowledge and insight into the market.”

Ascent MI was acquired by GfK earlier this year.
