Kin + Carta rebrands southeast Europe hub

UK – Global digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta has launched a south-eastern European delivery hub following its acquisition of software development company Melon Group last year.

Skopje, North Macedonia

Melon Group is based in Bulgaria and North Macedonia and will officially adopt the Kin + Carta name and branding as well as becoming the central delivery hub for all of Kin + Carta’s southeast Europe operations.

There are also plans for Kin + Carta to open a global data centre of excellence in North Macedonia.

In total, the consultancy now has more than 300 members of staff in the region, of which 80% are engineers delivering 50% of Kin + Carta’s output.

Kin + Carta now has operations in Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland, The Netherlands and the UK, in addition to offices in the US, Colombia and Argentina.

David Tuck, group chief executive officer at Kin + Carta Europe, said: “The global team recognises the deep engineering and data excellence and rich experience that comes from Southeast Europe.

“The next logical step to show our commitment to the region was to firmly embed the company here. It’s also important that our clients receive a consistent experience. With our delivery hub we are enabling all of our people, across all locations the chance to develop meaningful connections with their colleagues.”

Krum Hadzhigeorgiev, former Melon Group chief executive and executive managing director at Kin + Carta Southeast Europe, added: “Now as Kin + Carta, and with our forthcoming data excellence centre, we’ll continue to work as one global company, maintaining our position in the southeast European market, being a voice for change and delivering the best digital capabilities for responsible business across all of Europe and globally.”
