Kathi Love to step down as GfK MRI president

US — GfK MRI president and CEO Kathi Love is to step down from her role on 15 February. She will be replaced on an interim basis by chief research officer Julian Baim and chief operating officer Ian Jack.

Love (pictured), who has been president and CEO of MRI since 2000, has resigned to pursue a long-standing interest in psychology and sociology. Prior to joining the agency she was VP, market research and advertising planning at EMAP Peterson Publishing.

Last year, she took a seat on the board at the Media Behaviour Institute after GfK MRI acquired a 25% stake in the company. At the agency, she has most recently led partnerships with Scarborough and Keller Fay to enhance the MRI product offerings.
