UK – Newly formed WPP-owned specialist growth business, Kantar Consulting, has acquired brand strategy and growth consultancy, Mash Strategy, for an undisclosed amount.
London-based Mash was founded in 2010 by Conrad Persons and Jonathan Williams. It offers clients integrated consulting covering growth strategy, insight, innovation and brand transformation. Its clients include Johnson & Johnson, Samsung, Unilever and PepsiCo.
Mash has offices in London and New York and employs 25 people.
This is the first acquisition made by Kantar Consulting, which was announced this week and is Kantar’s new entity combining Kantar Added Value, Kantar Futures, Kantar Retail and Kantar Vermeer. Phil Smiley, previously chief executive of Kantar Retail, is CEO of the new business.
