MALAYSIA— Kadence International has named former Nielsen man Barry Ooi as managing director of its offices in Malaysia.
Ooi (pictured) will report to London-based group chairman Simon Everard. He has spent the past 15 years at Nielsen working as an executive director in retail measurement, brand equity and consumer research.
Everard said: “Barry’s extensive mix of experience and knowledge of the local market has ideally placed him to lead our Malaysian office. He has excellent management and leadership skills combined with an entrepreneurial flair, which enable him to build on our current growth momentum in the region.”
Ooi replaces Ben Webb, who has left the company.
