Kada Research expands management team

UK – Sheffield-based economic research consultancy Kada Research has appointed Laura Lane as associate director.

Prior to Kada Research, Lane (pictured) worked for the Department of Education, where she led national post-16 and professional and technical education policy developments.

Lane has a decade of experience in higher education and has held leadership roles in private, public and academic settings. Her work has included various national policy agendas, programmes and projects, covering professional and technical education, access to higher education, inclusion and diversity, regeneration and skills, and strategic school improvement. 

Karl Dalgleish, director at Kada Research, said: “Laura’s exceptional talent in the education sector will be a significant asset within the team and for clients.

“Laura’s dedication to the field demonstrates her passion for education and skills development. Her skillset aligns well with the company ethos and promises our clients to deliver the highest standard of work.” 

Kada’s services include economic growth planning and strategy, economic impact assessment and economic feasibility studies. Current projects include the development of a skills, training and business support plan for the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District in South Yorkshire.
