US— Music industry veteran Jeff Green has stepped down from his post as VP operations for Country Aircheck to launch Stone Door Media Lab – a Nashville-based think tank providing ratings research, customer data, digital media consumption analytics and market analysis.
In the new business, which began operations this week, Green is partnered by Lauren Virshup, formerly of Arbitron.
Green explained: “Stone Door Media Lab will help companies, mainly in entertainment, to improve their revenue growth by providing business intelligence.
“By looking at history and current trends companies can make the right strategic moves for future growth… We plan to identify meaningful revenue opportunities by determining correlations and causality of specific efforts undertaken by traditional and digital media, artists, labels, corporate marketers and social media service providers.”
