CANADA – Jean-Marc Léger, president and chief executive at market research company Leger, has been named co-chair of the Canadian Research Insights Council’s (CRIC) newly formed artificial intelligence (AI) committee.
Leger (pictured) will be joined as co-chair by Jason Zweig, vice-president of Canada Viewpoint Inc.
The committee will offer guidance on integrating AI into the market research industry while maintaining high ethical standards, protecting personal information and confidential data.
Léger said that he wanted to model the AI committee on Esomar’s AI task force.
“We want to offer the same formula for the Canadian market research professionals to educate, regulate and share best practices in AI,” he added.
