AUSTRALIA — Global research company Ipsos has promoted Hamish Munro to CEO of Ipsos South East Asia, based in Singapore.
Munro (pictured) will be responsible for Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia and will report to Ipsos Asia Pacific CEO Lifeng Liu.
Taking over Munro’s previous role of managing director for Australia and New Zealand is Simon Wake. Currently, managing director of Ipsos MediaCT in Australia, Wake has been in that role for three years. Wake has more than 17 years experience in market research, audience measurement, marketing and publishing.
Wake has worked at ANOP Research Services and Millward Brown in Australia and in the UK. Before joining Ipsos, he was marketing and circulation director at Fairfax Media’s Financial Review Group.
