UK – Ipsos has been included in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality list, run by Business in the Community (BITC).
The list recognises employers that are demonstrating their commitment to embedding gender equality into their organisations.
Applicants are examined on their policies and cultural interventions focused on gender equality. These include addressing pay disparities, offering flexible working and family friendly policies, and tackling sexual harassment.
Kelly Beaver, chief executive, Ipsos UK and Ireland, said: “It’s important to us that everyone feels valued and supported in their role. We want to enable all our people to thrive and reach their full potential.
“We also have a responsibility within our industry to contribute to the public debate on diversity and equality in Britain and we believe that by working together we can encourage more open conversations, raise awareness, and create a fairer and more equitable world.”
Also appearing in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality were professional services firms Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte UK, EY, KPMG UK and PwC.
Charlotte Woodworth, gender equality director at Business in the Community, said: “The commitment shown by this year’s Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality demonstrates that while there is still work to be done, progress is being made. We urge employers to be bold, brave and swift in their actions to close the gender gap and foster inclusive environments for everyone, regardless of their gender.”
