Ipsos Iris adds more frequent Australian audience data releases

The weekly insights, which are available from 6th November, will provide data on audience content consumption behaviour across websites and apps, helping to identify emerging trends, audience spikes, seasonal patterns and the impact of major events on viewership.
A weekly dashboard will also offer a streamlined version of Ipsos Iris’ monthly report, including audience numbers and reach, minutes spent online, browser page views and week-to-week percentage changes.
Data will be released by midday every Friday, covering the previous Monday to Sunday cycle. Monthly data will continue to be published.
Ipsos Iris launched its monthly data insights in 2023, following two years of work by IAB Australia and its measurement council, including a strategic review of industry requirements.
Heather White, audience measurement director of digital measurement at Ipsos, said: “The new weekly Ipsos iris data provides a more frequent, timely and detailed understanding of audience behaviour on websites and apps.
“This will enable faster identification of content trends, short-term spikes, event and breaking news impact, seasonal patterns and will support timely comparability of audience shifts and more responsive content programming.”
