US – Ipsos’s brand communications, advertising and media division Ipsos Connect has hired Michael Baer as its senior vice-president, head of audience measurement group.
Baer (pictured) will lead growth for the Ipsos Affluent Intelligence Group, which includes the Ipsos Affluent Survey (IAS) which gathers market insight on affluent Americans.
He has 25 years’ experience in the industry and was most recently chief marketing officer at Laughlin-Constable. Baer’s also held roles at agencies including Starcom as executive vice-president, managing director and worked at NW Ayer; Foote, Cone and Belding; Ammirati Puris Lintas; Lowe and Partners; and Cramer-Krasselt.
Peter Minnium, president, Ipsos Connect, said: “Michael will help us evolve our product, capabilities and business opportunities, and help our clients derive insights from the important affluent consumer target.”
