Intage acquires dataSpring
Headquartered in Tokyo, dataSpring was founded in 2009, then known as Research Panel Asia (RPA), offering Japan panels to global markets.
In 2015, Research Panel Asia was acquired by Marketing Applications in a stock swap, and the company was renamed dataSpring.
Tomohiro Hosono, CEO of dataSpring, said: "With this move, dataSpring will continue to strive in this very competitive market and move forward to become the number one Asian sample provider globally."
Noriaki Ishizuka, president and representative director of Intage Holdings added: “The research industry in Asia is shifting towards the online and mobile domains, and the demands are rapidly changing.
"This new company would lead the change in the industry and innovation in Asia. It will be the core function of Intage global business to take leadership in Asia and beyond."
