US— Software developer Imperium has signed up data collection firm Western Wats as a new client of its Verity respondent validation tool.
Verity will check the identity of Western Wats panellists against various databases to confirm name, address and date of birth.
Western Wats says it uses a mix of proprietary and third-party solutions to check people are who they say they are. Online services VP Bob Fawson says the company is “committed to initiatives that improve the quality, consistency and reliability of online research”.
