IBOPE Media adds mobile to its internet monitoring

BRAZIL — Latin American media research company IBOPE Media has added mobile phones to its internet usage monitoring.

Mobile Report research is based on a structured and representative questionnaire of the smartphone users applied monthly to an internet users’ panel of around 700, and examines the evolution of when and how people relate to mobile online.

Regional director of IBOPE Media Brazil Dora Chamber said: “As of 15 years ago, IBOPE Media began monitoring internet usage; we noticed that the access expanded through different platforms and channels. The natural course for us to represent the growing use of multiple channels is to include the use of smartphones.”
