UK – Acacia Avenue’s Caroline Hayter and Samsung’s Zoe Ruffels have been elected to the Market Research Society’s main board.

Hayter, who is co-founder and strategist at research and strategy consultancy Acacia Avenue and Zoe Ruffels, vice-president consumer & market intelligence at Samsung Electronics will serve from April.

Ruffels has been at Samsung for more than two years and prior to that spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble in the UK and Geneva.

Jane Frost, CEO of the MRS said the election had gained one of the highest turnouts, thanks in part to vigorous social media campaigning.
