US— Donovan Batiste has been promoted to vice president for research and media planning at Hallmark Channels, as the network seeks to boost its daytime output.
Previously Batiste was research director where the channel said he played a key role in evaluating online user patterns which helped the network refresh its consumer website.
He will be based at the networks’ Los Angeles office and will have expanded responsibilities for media plans related to on-air promotional campaigns and strategies to drive ratings for the channels.
Jess Aguirre, senior vice president of the research and media planning division, said, “I am delighted to acknowledge his leadership, expertise and dedication. He is taking on this expanded role as Hallmark Channel transitions into daytime original programming.”
Before joining Hallmark Batiste was a senior analyst at CBS-Paramount Pictures where he worked on shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Frasier, and Judge Judy.
