GutCheck on course to triple in size this year

US — On-demand research community platform GutCheck has reported a 650% year-on-year growth and said it was on track to triple in size in 2013.

GutCheck employs a research methodology that engages specifically-targeted consumers in real time through its proprietary on demand community platform and the company said the growth was the result of strong customer engagement in consumer packaged goods, healthcare and consumer electronics.

In May, GutCheck announced that it had completed a $4m series B equity financing with existing investors Highway 12 Ventures and Village Ventures along with new investor Grotech Ventures and Crawley Ventures. GutCheck is using the cash infusion to expand sales, marketing and engineering to meet increasing customer demand.

GutCheck CEO Matt Warta said: “Agile market research done in real-time is proving incredibly valuable to our customers. It is a sea change in the industry away from depending on the type of market research that takes months and tens of thousands of dollars to complete to an agile, on-demand, real-time solution.”
