UK – WPP’s media business, GroupM, has appointed Carmelita Lubos to the newly created role of chief talent officer in the UK.
Lubos (pictured) joins the company from food delivery start-up Deliveroo, where she was global director of talent. Prior to that, she held senior talent roles at Burberry, Virgin Media and Yahoo! Europe.
At GroupM, Lubos will be responsible for leading human resources, recruitment, learning and development and inclusion and diversity in the UK. She takes up the role from July.
Tom George, UK chief executive at GroupM, said: “Carmelita brings over 20 years of top-level expertise to a vital function within our business. I’m confident this new role will enable us to further develop our offering in this extremely important area of our business to benefit our people and ultimately our clients.”
