UK – Harry Harcus has been appointed UK managing director for WPP’s programmatic digital platform Xaxis, taking over from Nicolas Bidon.
Harcus (pictured) was previously a senior director at Group M which he joined in 2011. Prior to that he worked at IPC Media as director of ad operations.
Harcus – who will report to Group M Interaction managing director, Jakob Nielsen – will lead Xaxis UK’s business and grow its performance business Light Reaction.
Bidon is now global chief executive of WPP’s native ad platform, Plista, which it bought in 2014.
