Good-Loop launches sustainable advertising course
The course is divided into three different modules, with the first examining what climate change is and how it relates to the media industry.
The second module focuses on breaking down the terminology that surrounds sustainability conversations in the advertising sector and what this means for advertisers’ climate claims.
Finally, the third module focuses on decarbonisation and outlines steps participants can take to identify and address the environmental cost of their campaigns.
Amy Williams, chief executive at Good-Loop, said: “This green skills gap is one of the biggest barriers to action against climate change in the ad sector: many marketers want to address this, but are unsure how.
“With this free course, we want to ensure that everyone in our industry has the skills and knowledge needed to make more sustainable choices and turn advertising into the force for good it has the potential to be.”
