SINGAPORE— GfK Asia has appointed Lawrence Yeow as regional retail director.
He joins GfK from Watson’s Personal Care Store in Singapore, where he was operations director. He has also worked with United Overseas Bank and BP.
Stanley Kee, managing director at GfK Southeast Asia, said: “Lawrence has extensive retail background across a myriad of sectors which renders him well-equipped to take charge of GfK’s retail business.
“With his broad understanding and knowledge of franchisee management, fuel retailing, merchandising and market planning, he is able to translate the consumer research needs of the region’s retail associations and key business bodies synergistically to help retailers deliver their sales and profit targets.”
Yeow will be based in Singapore and report to Kee.
