GetWhy adds to board

DENMARK – AI-led qualitative research business GetWhy has named former Qualtrics chief customer officer Donnchadh ‘DC’ Casey to its board.

Boardroom

Casey is currently at app services firm F5 and previously was chief executive at CalypsoAI, having left Qualtrics in 2024 after an almost nine-year spell at the firm.

GetWhy is an AI insight company based in Copenhagen, focused on supporting enterprise research and insights teams with qualitative research.

Last year, GetWhy raised an additional $20m investment led by PeakScan Capital from its existing investors, adding to a $34.5m Series A funding round in 2024.

Casper Henningsen, chief executive at GetWhy, said: “DC understands what it takes for research to earn trust inside organisations.

“His experience across both insights and applied AI will help ensure qualitative research plays a meaningful role in the decisions our clients make, even as speed and scale increase.”

Casey added: “AI can dramatically improve speed and access to insight – but speed without rigour doesn’t help anyone. What attracted me to GetWhy is their focus on combining advanced technology with real qualitative expertise.”
