US — IT market analyst Gartner has reported fourth quarter and full-year 2013 revenue up 10%, to $520.7m and $1.78bn respectively.
Research revenue for the full year increased 12% to $1.27bn, while consulting revenue grew 3% to $314m. Events revenue, meanwhile, was up 14% to $198.9m.
Full-year operating income was also up 10% to $1.5bn, while profits grew at the same rate, to $182.8m.
CEO Gene Hall said: “Our contract value reached an all-time high as we achieved record levels of new business and continued strong client and wallet retention. As we look ahead to 2014, we expect an acceleration in contract value growth and another year of double-digit growth in our key financial metrics.”
