Food and agriculture-focused synthetic research launches

CANADA – Toronto-based food marketing and research agency 6 Seeds Consulting has developed a synthetic research platform aimed at food and agriculture brands.

The platform uses digital twin technology to offer simulations of consumers and stakeholders.

Brands can use it to test ideas, messages and products and conduct scenario testing across different geographical locations.

Founded in 2023, 6 Seeds Consulting works with commodity boards, consumer packaged goods (CPG) businesses, sustainable growers and agricultural technology companies.

The company said industry groups in the United States are using the platform to forecast purchase intent and evaluate claims.

The platform is currently available in the US, Canada and Europe, with additional country-level models set to be added.

Andreas Duess, chief executivd and co-founder of 6 Seeds, said: “We can safely test difficult questions – where people may hesitate in panels – and model behaviour in markets that are traditionally tough to reach.”
