FocalCast develops new video research tool
The service, dubbed Unity, will allow users to connect with survey participants using live video on the respondents’ devices. Researchers can also watch live videos of focus groups, chat with group moderators, and use the platform to store stimuli, audio, video and annotation.
The tool works alongside FocalCast’s existing platform, which is used to determine user feedback on graphical stimuli and design.
According to the company, the tool has been used for consumer interviews in the US, including in-store interviews conducted via smartphone.
