SINGAPORE— Two former members of Harris Interactive’s Asia leadership team have launched Agility Research & Strategy, an agency based in Singapore with plans to expand into India and China.
Asha Choksi, previously senior vice president and head of Asian operations at Harris, and Amrita Banta, who was senior vice president of client development, will offer b2b and b2c research covering FMCG, financial services, media, retail, healthcare and travel and hospitality sectors.
The firm offers methodologies including face-to-face surveys, phone surveys, mystery shopping, online communities, social media monitoring, ethnography and advanced analytics.
Banta said: “Clients need faster turnaround and more insightful analysis using the latest tools and techniques to get ahead of the competition. Our proprietary methodologies and products will help our clients generate actionable research to help form their regional strategies.”
Choksi added: “Given the diversity of Asia and the vast size of the region, our tools have to reflect that diversity. Technology allows us to expand our reach in ways we hadn’t ever imagined.”
Harris announced in July that it was shutting down its operations in Asia as part of a turnaround plan being implemented by new CEO Al Angrisani.
