Esomar Foundation, WIRe and Unilever fund Kenyan research scholarship
Nyaga, a Kenyan native from a disadvantaged socio-economic background, will be pursuing an MSc in marketing, with a focus on market research, at the University of Nairobi, School of Business.
WIRe raised the funding for the scholarship through outreach to its global community, and was supported by a matching donation from Unilever.
“Providing the opportunity for Innocent to pursue her studies in the market research field, and support the future of our industry makes us proud here at The Esomar Foundation,” said Gunilla Broadbent, president, Esomar Foundation.
“We are grateful for the generous support of WIRe and Unilever, two organisations who are just as committed as we are to investing in future talent in the market research industry.”

We are very excited about this initiative. And as a practicing research expert from the East Africa region I look forward to many more partnerships with ESOMAR that will grow young researchers to specialised experts. Thank you ESOMAR, WiRE and Unilever for this one
