US – GfK’s auto syndicated (automobility) team in North America has hired industry veteran Jim Ehrlich as senior vice-president and account manager, primarily working with West Coast automotive clients.
Ehrlich (pictured) was previously director of research and market intelligence at Cox Automotive. He has also held corporate, marketing, product and strategic planning roles at Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Capital America.
On the agency side, he has also worked at Morpace International and Harris Interactive, as well as the US Census Bureau.
Tom Neri, commercial director for technology and durables in North America, said: “We are thrilled to add someone with Jim’s credentials and strategic experience to an already strong team.”
Ehrlich will be based in Los Angeles.
