UK – Marketing and media consultancy Ebiquity has launched an innovation unit following its acquisition of digital media monitoring service Digital Decisions a year ago.
The move marks the completion of Ebiquity Group’s integration with Digital Decisions, which will now operate as Ebiquity’s Digital Innovation Centre.
Ebiquity acquired Digital Decisions in January 2020.
The new division will develop, maintain, and deliver digital tools for the consultancy’s global clients. A central team manages data streams for the hub from across 50 countries.
Ebiquity has appointed Lars Noordewier, co-founder and formerly chief operating officer at Digital Decisions, as managing director of the unit.
Additionally, Ruben Schreurs, formerly chief executive of Digital Decisions, has been appointed as Ebiquity’s group chief product officer, while former chief commercial officer Peter Hanford has been named group director of digital growth.
Nick Waters, global chief executive officer, Ebiquity (pictured), said: “As an independent operator at the centre of the industry, we have the capability and responsibility to drive efficiency, effectiveness and principle-driven growth for our clients. This is the reason we brought Ruben Schreurs and his team into the company last year. Fully integrating the team into Ebiquity will accelerate our ability to define the next generation of media investment analysis.”
