eBay man named web research director at Virtual Surveys

UK— James Lang, former head of user experience and search for eBay Australia and New Zealand, is to become web research chief at Virtual Surveys.

Lang began his career at engineering consultancy Hyder, before joining eBay where he was responsible for commissioning web analytics, user research and product development panels.

His new brief will see him take responsibility for the firm’s digital research offering.

He will work alongside Graeme Lawrence, Virtual Survey’s sales and marketing director, who said: “It is a testament to Virtual Survey’s commitment to innovation and growth that we have been able to secure a web research director of James’s calibre.”
