DJS appoints Redfern as research director

UK — DJS Research has appointed former Directions Research & Marketing and Nunwood executive Gill Redfern as research director.

Redfern has worked predominately in the retail, publishing and kids/youth markets – with clients including Tesco, Matalan, M&S, Mars, Nestle and News International.

She has been a freelance researcher since 2008, working with both end-clients and research agencies.

DJS managing director Danny Sims said: “Gill’s arrival is a great step for DJS. We pride ourselves on the quality of our research and the only way to offer top level research is to have a first-rate team. Gill’s skillset complements the experience of our present research directors perfectly, and her knowledge of qualitative research is second to none – she’s a fantastic addition to our team.”

In addition, DJS has taken on Jenny Traynor in a research support role, and Declan Whewell as an assistant in the operations team.
