Inclusion News UK

UK – Fiona Blades, founder of data, analytics and insight company Mesh Experience, has created a new initiative to encourage businesses to buy research, analytics and insight work from companies with a diverse ownership.

DEI

Diversity Unlimited is a collective of consultancies with diverse ownership that will provide access to research, analytics and insight tools with also promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

Members of Diversity Unlimited are Mesh Experience’s Blades and Dana DiGregorio; Equitas Insight’s Sandra Grandsoult and Ana-Maria Santos; Lawes Consulting’s Dr Rachel Lawes; Jigsaw Research’s Sue van Meeteren and Julie Knox; and Gazelle Global’s Anne Brown.

The consultancies will work both independently and collectively to provide clients with insight, research and analytics tools while offering a single point of contact, collaboration and billing.

Blades said: “Industry bodies in market research have been championing the DEI agenda for some time with compelling pledges and best practices on sampling, methodologies, and languages.

“As a woman-owned business, I am passionate about DEI and I am hoping Diversity Unlimited will add another dimension to help push this agenda forward in the market research industry.”

Grandsoult said: “Diversity Unlimited plugs a real gap in the market. It’s quite a challenge for procurement and DEI professionals in corporates to find diverse research, analytics and insight consultancies to work with and to find expertise in inclusive insights.

“Providing a one-stop shop for them to visit and use will really elevate the commercial side of the DEI agenda in market research.”
