Digital consultancy Transmute opens its doors
St James (pictured) said of the new business: “We’re setting out to help large national and global businesses enhance their work online, past the usual marketing fare. We want to drive change within businesses, helping teams embed digital practices within the company to make long lasting change to their bottom line.”
“We are about government, policy, business intelligence, customer care; are you talking to the right influencers, can you streamline the sales process to make it more digital?” she added.
Among Transmute’s clients are SABMiller, Big Lottery Fund, Google and the National Trust.
St James has run Stimulation, her own consultancy, for the past 12 years but set up Transmute to extend her offering. Among her consultancy roles have been head of public participation at the Cabinet Office, head of communications, digital policy for the COI and communications director for Directgov.
