US— Dialsmith has launched an online version of its Perception Analyzer tool, which allows respondents to record their reactions to videos while they are watching.
Previously only available as a handheld dial, which respondents would turn to indicate positive, neutral or negative responses to videos, the company has evolved this into an online sliding scale that can be moved left to right while watching online streams.
Data is output as a line graph that tracks the ups and downs of consumer response for the length of the video.
