Dentsu buys Novus Group

JAPAN – The Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired a 100% stake in Singapore-based content marketing agency, Novus Group, which will now be merged with John Brown Media in the UK.

Founded in 2009 by Simon Cholmeley, Novus is a multi-platform content and brand publishing agency with 35 staff and will now be known as John Brown Novus.

The new agency will work with Dentsu’s iProspect to grow in Asia Pacific.

The purchase price was not revealed. Novus achieved gross revenue of S$4.1m for the year to December 2016.
