Crossmint buys Canadian user research startup Cycle AI
Crossmint, founded in 2022, is used by companies and developers to build web 3 use cases, and offers a set of asset tokenisation, wallet, identity and payment tools. Customers include Mastercard, Red Bull and Coinbase.
Cycle AI, based in Toronto and founded earlier this year, offers AI-based user research tools.
Crossmint said the acquisition would bolster its platform’s ‘AI capabilities’ and help it to ‘better serve’ clients building crypto-based AI applications.
Cycle AI’s chief executive Conor Plunkett has joined the Crossmint team following the acquisition.
The financial terms were not disclosed.
