Contentsquare acquires Clicktale
The combined company will work with 600 enterprise clients globally, including Dell, RBS and T-Mobile. The acquisition takes the company to around 550 employees.
Product, research and development teams from the companies are working to create a joint augmented platform combining both products. The companies’ research and development teams will be integrated and expanded with teams working together in Paris and Tel Aviv.
The purchase of Clicktale follows Contentsquare’s recent acquisition of Pricing Assistant, a pricing optimisation and merchandising tool.
Existing Clicktale investors, including global investment firm KKR, will become investors in Contentsquare following the deal.
Jonathan Cherki, founder and chief executive of Contentsquare, said the acquisition would allow clients to “interpret and predict the impact of any digital element – including user experience, content, price, reviews and product – on visitor behaviour”.
He added: “Increasingly, this unique data can be used to activate custom digital experiences in the moment via an ecosystem of over 50 martech partners.”
