ComScore’s first-quarter sales hit $53m

US— ComScore has reported first quarter revenue up 47% to $53m, but with costs up 59% the company reported a net loss of $334,000 compared to a profit of $229,000 last year.

For the full year, the company is forecasting a pre-tax loss of up to $5.8m, however CEO Magid Abraham said revenue would grow by as much as 37%.

He said that a “widened portfolio of best-in-breed products” positions the company to achieve strong topline growth “that we will be able to leverage with scale to further enhance our profitability”.
