Circana increases US convenience store data coverage

The expansion will cover $15bn in annual sales from the prepared foods, dispensed beverages and fresh products categories, and will focus on gathering insights into perishable sales across US convenience store retail chains.
Circana said that users would be able to access item-level data on single-serve and dispensed beverage purchases, with the expansion offering reporting at the total US chain convenience level as well as for individual retail accounts.
Wei Lin Wong, president of consumer packaged goods at Circana, said: “By providing a significantly more complete market view that includes these vital fresh food and beverage categories, we are giving our clients the clarity they need to make more informed, strategic decisions in a competitive environment.”
