Bruce Daisley and Nicky Morgan among keynotes for Impact 2019
Daisley, who is a podcaster and author of The Joy of Work in addition to his role at Twitter, will open the two-day conference by sharing his advice for recharging working cultures and promoting a healthier approach to work.
Morgan, chair of the Treasury Select Committee and former education secretary, will offer a view from the Commons on the challenges of understanding the nation at a major turning point for society.
In another keynote session, O’Hagan, who ghost-wrote Julian Assange’s memoirs, will explore how to get closer to the truth in a world of assumed identities on social media.
The conference will close with an interview with Victoria Coren Mitchell, columnist, host of Only Connect and two-time winner of the European Poker Tour.
Helen Thomson, science journalist and author of Unthinkable, and cleric, broadcaster and former communard Reverend Richard Coles will also give keynote talks.
Other conference highlights include a discussion between marketers from Google, Samsung and Asda on reframing brands’ investment in insight; a session on rising to the commercial and social challenges of artificial intelligence; and a look at how insight heads from Anheuser-Busch InBev, Sony Music and The Walt Disney Company have successfully co-created with their agencies to drive insight in their businesses.
Taking place on 12-13 March, the theme of Impact 2019 is ‘augmented insight’. More information and the full programme can be found on the conference website.
