GLOBAL — BMW has beaten Walt Disney and Google to the title of the world’s most reputable company, according to the Reputation Institute’s 2015 Global Reptrak 100 ranking.
Based on interviews with over global 60,000 consumers on what drives trust and support and how the 100 companies are living up to their expectations, the ranking revealed that BMW had risen from its third place ranking last year to overtake Google — in second place — and leave The Walt Disney Company trailing in sixth place. The two companies had previously jointly held the top position.
Brands are ranked according to their reputation, based on factors like innovation, governance and citizenship.
