Bigpoint taps Kontagent for mobile games analytics

US— German online videogame developer Bigpoint has signed up to user analytics firm Kontagent’s mobile app platform to help improve the performance of its games.

Bigpoint will use the kSuite platform to gain insight into user behaviour in a bit to increase user retention and in-game purchases.

Jeff Tseng, Kontagent’s CEO, said: “With most apps in the mobile space moving to the free-to-install model, developers are facing intense pressure to drive revenue through in-app purchases. To do that, they need to understand every nuance of user behaviour, from acquisition channels and device preferences to how long they spend in an app, where they abandon, when they buy, currency flows and much more.”
